Nice work there Nick - although I have found an aftermarket shorter clutch lever afterall (similar length to what you've done there) in Cycle Gear here in the USA (I forget the exact model, but it's a Yamaha GP style one or something like that) - it's make by one of those replacement lever companies like you get from M&P etc. for a tenner...
I presume they also do a correspondingly shorter brake lever too?, but didn't have that in stock, so I currently have a dremiled brake lever (with no ball), and a shorty clutch with a ball - ah well, it'll do for now... (especially as I had to ride 50 miles without a clutch the other day, when the bike fell off it's stand on a slope, and the previous cheapy replacement lever snapped... doh).
