Breaking news, the 2009 XT660X/R have a new ECU. Lets hope this new ECU will fix all the surging problems we are having. New part number is 5VK-8591A-11 |
Kev,
will you be buying one to see if this sorts out the surging issue, or should i nudge my YAM dealer to supply one given how 'rubbish' the 07 ones were linked to the 02 sensor?? Cheers WB |
I am not sure if the new part number for the 2009 XTX/R is a XTZ one, I am just trying to find the thread with the photo's of the XTZ ECU to confirm my suspicions.
If it is the same ECU as the XTZ, I can see some warranty claims coming to Yamaha very soon.:toothy2: |
kev do you know if the same ecu is yoused in the mto3 have got a tenere just now and the fuelling is spot one but fancy a mto3 next year as a second bike

Tenere ECU
Hi Kev, I posted the pics of the Tenere ECU, I've just tried to upload them again, but I'm not on a good connection at the moment (on an oil rig!). I'll try to find a link, but from what I can see, the number is different.
