On the last comment: I think it's a WWII pillbox/bunker of some kind, so maybe connected to a monument probably, therefore the flag? Don't be too quick with your judgements. Hope Alan can give us the answer?

I was on my way to a big meeting (over 650 bikes), but we had rain all day.
Only the die hards showed up (about 70 people).
They are going to try it again next weekend.
