At 17.63 before the 7.5% discount (which is 16.31 plus p+p = Tot 18.51) the deal can't be bad, can it?
Stainless screw means no more rust and discolorations! As we all know the original screw on our engine tend change colour after the first wash :093: I only saw another company that made these screws at a bike show and they were asking for 29.99 I've ordered a set myself, it would be rude not to!! Miguel and George please pass it on to your countrymen in your international forums. Thanks |
Set ordered.

Another great one there Capt:smilies0346::049:, will have to order me a set of those as my bolts are near non exsitent with the amount of corrosion on them. The only thing im worried about it getting the oe bolts out.
I tried to get 2 of the yokes bolts off the other day to get access to something but even a socket started to chew it up:soapbox:. Hope this doesnt happen to the engine ones!!!! |
Make sure the engine is well hot when you remove the old screws and then try the following:
1) soak them in WD40 2) try to tighten them before undoing them, that movement of tightening looses them when you want to unscrew them. (it's an old trick) 3) make sure you have the best allen keys available, don't use cheap and uneven shaped ones. |

Myself and motonacio already ordered a set first thing this morning, who else has ordered a set? |
Arrived this morning in post - just over 24 hours since ordering.
Good quality - well worth the price. :045: |
Same here, arrived this morning, bleeding fast that was!! As Dave said good quality and the price is right! You'll be mad not to get some! :D
Bloody Postman woke me up for them, I was recovering from a late shift!!! :angry4::angry4::angry4: |
When fitting these is it best to remove/fit one screw at a time?
I remember once someone telling me to loosen engine bolts in a particular pattern or possibly risk warping the engine casing. I like the idea of replacing the dull bolts with some nice new shiny jobs. |
Yea ive been told the best idea it too, take one screw out, replace it and tighten it up, keep doing this then retighten them all again just to make sure.:icon_cyclops_ani:

I was almost right its not Ealing it's Hanwell which is the next sh*t hole right past Ealing! :D Now.... they should have a kit for the XT660X, but if they give you any grief (cause they can be a bunch of knobs in there), tell them the Capt, sent a bloke 2 years ago called John Driver with a gray XTX to guinee pig his bike for them to mimic a set of these screws. Ok? Good luck |
