You are now ready to go for a ride, follow the manufactures break in period for the new camshaft.

If you are using a new camshaft, change the engine oil to a mineral oil to run the cam in.

No worries, I do quite a few things on my bike behind the scenes & don't document the procedure. So I decided this may help others as there seems to be an interest in fitting these Hot Cams.:bbq[1]:

you are the man, kev. roughly what hp gains do you expect from this mod.?

I have already run this mod on the dyno.

Hotcams do not supply any service manual with their camshafts. I do have all years 04 to 09 XT660R & XT660X parts & workshop manuals in PDF.
