Hi Torsten,
Understood, the pictures are clear, thx. I think you have a point that it's better that something like this breaks than the subframe. I'll take along some of those clips just in case, and perhaps the ultimate spare: a roll of gaffer tape :-)
Maxwel: got a mail from the offroad training guys, they've managed to fit me in as well. So at least I'll get a few km of offroad epxerience before I go.

p.s. Torsten, could you send some pics of the "twirly bit" as well? I'd rather not see the "thingy" though...

Good job, hope it all goes well for you on the off roading. I havent ridden off road properly for a while, and the XT is very different than what i am used to, i also have a 2 days off roading trip planned for wales this easter, so i will see how the XT handles it. Still need to order my knobblies tires though.

fitting metal mule 2into1 exhausts

hi i want to fit the metal mule 2 into 1 exhausts to my 2009 xtr what else do i need to change, are they a straight forward change thanks

Hi I have a Metal mule exhaust fitted to my XTR. The dent you see in the exhaust can is from the brake caliper when the suspension bottoms out and the rear screw attaching the heat shield seems to melt anything that comes into contact with it, ie my new dryrider pants.
