Finally...a reason for O-T-R to lower their prices and get their thumb out

hono 30-04-09 14:21

i got answer from gilimotor. they have tanks in stock. black, red and blue.

they do not accept international credit cards.

i asked do they have paypal or is it possible to have preinvoice. i know that there are some risks paying beforehand but price is attracting.

they are sorting out shipping costs and time from brasil to finland

it seems that they are not familiar at international business.

they do not have paypal either.

i asked them to send preinvoice to me and send tank after they have recived money. i also asked if they can ask local shipping company (dhl or similar) how much shipping costs from brasil to finland, europe and also how many days it will take.

i have never bought anything from brasil. do you have vat tax system in brasil? if so do you know if it is possible to take vat of if i buy items abroad with company vat number (which i have)

gilimotors answer:

Jari,

I talked with correios, for I to export the tank fro you, You can deposit:

R$554,40 - tank
U$25,00 - exchanges with the bank (Citibank)

Transportation: You can choose:

R$281,00 - between 4 and 6 days for the tank to arrive at the country
or
R$114,00 - between 14and 16 days.

I waiting for you answer, and one more time, sorry for don't speak english well.

Regards,

Giovana

Correios is state owned post company. slower shipping to finland and i will have a larger tank under 250 .....

still waiting how to make actual money transfer. i asked him to make an invoice and send it to via e mail.

That sounds very resoanable, instead of the almost 1000 (over 1000 if you have it painted) from Germany.

I'm very interested! :)
