Home made paddock stand

Welded a few pieces of metal together, used an old timing belt from a car to cover the top to soften the connection to swing arm
Works like a charm
Service to back wheel and chain would be much easier from now on

nice job, I love welding stuff up but I'm truly bad at it........I'd be tempted to put small castor wheels at the pivot point and also at the top of the 'handle' ends. Then the paddock stand becomes a bogey trolley also, so you could spin the bike around the garage without taking it off the paddock stand....I went old school though and fitted a centre stand :WellDone_OROQR1:

I thought of castor wheels, but I'm scared moving the bike around might lead to mishap, so being stable works for me, but, good idea

Good stuff but I would weld a shallow "U" section on the swing arm supports like axle stands. When I've had the back wheel out it has involved a lot wiggling and wobbling (not to mention swearing) to get it and the spacers back in again.
