Broken clutch switch

Too clumsy perhaps, with my stiff fingers, when replacing the levers for shorter
ones. It appears I damaged the clutch switch in the process, as the bike now starts only when in neutral. :eusa_eh:

Not with the bike right now, so can't have a look, but I belive replacing the switch should be quite straight forward (if I only manage to operate a bit more smoothly)?

Cheers.

It is a very quick job to swap them and there are usually plenty on ebay. I'd check yours is actually broken first by removing it and doing a simple battery and bulb, or continuity test. You may have just dislodged something.

It worked! Thanks to you Sir! :icon_salut:

Today I finally got around to dismantle and pick apart the switch. I figured out how I thought it should be put together again in order to work properly, (admittedly nothing super sophisticated). - And, voil! It worked! The engine would again fire up when in gear, with the clutch disengaged.

At least when I finally remembered to also fold up the side stand. :eusa_doh:

Made my day! :041:
