Adjustable brake and clutch levers

Hi guys,

I hope everyone has been out on their bikes enjoying the weather, I certainly have.

One thing I really want to get for my bike is adjustable brake and clutch levers. I rode my friend's bike this weekend and his had them and I loved them.

Any recommendations for the XT660X? My friend's was a Honda :angry6: lol.

Also do you just need the levers or are there any other parts I need? I won't be fitting it myself, don't worry.

Thanks in advance guys,
Starko.

I have TITAX levers on mine.

TBH they were on the bike when I bought her but they are quality kit and an easy fit..

Titax are really nice quality, I had them on a Tuono. To be fair ebay is littered with copies and I have some and they're just as nice and have the same functionality.

You can usually find them for 30 on ebay but here's and example at a pricey 60 per pair, but they are reach adjustable, length adjustable and importantly for some they fold upwards too.

I fitted the cheaper span adjustable ones to my xtx, around 15 for the pair.
I liked the fact that I now had adjustment on the clutch lever, but I ordered the standard length ones which were ok but I prefer the short version I currently use now,but it's personal preference.

+1 on the ebay levers, excellent quality. had mine for a couple of years now and still as good as new. bargain for 14.

They seem to be a popular choice. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

Have you fitted them yourself before? Do I need any other parts or are they all included?

Again, did you fit them yourself or do you know if I need to purchase anything else?

Thanks in advance

Just seen the price of the TITAX. :confused2:

Chalk Two 11-07-18 18:13

Yep TITAX are a bit pricey but you won't need anything else to fit them or the 15 ebay ones for that matter.

Starko 12-07-18 19:24

Thanks mate. I think the ebay ones will do for me for now.

I have Titax on my mind for a while. Would be very interested to know your thought once you have fitted them :)
