Is there a mod for the 660 tenere where you can start bike with clutch in gear as it will only start in neutral is this normal???.......its a 16 bike by the way .....cheers :read2:

If you look under the clutch lever pivot bolt there is a micro switch. It is easily disconnected to reveal just 2 wire terminals.

If you disconnect the switch (30seconds) you can 'bridge' the 2 wires' terminals. That way the ECU thinks the clutch has been pulled in although the bike is in 1st and it will start in gear. Not recommended on the side stand though....

You can test the theory out by just bridging those wires of the loom and see if that's what you're after. 30 secs to return to original.

You're very welcome. It comes in handy sometimes but watch you dont burn out the starter circuit using the starter motor to drive the bike out of a ditch.

I will prob need some better tyres for that but roll on winter i say as its a bit dusty up here in gods own country at the minute
