Dash buttons.

Is it possible to take the rubber covers off the two buttons to clean the buttons/switches??

I ask as everytime I fill up with petrol and want to reset the odometer its a right old faff to get the buttons to work. Sometimes I have to leave the petrol station and spend a five minutes trying to do it parked up somewhere.

Hi,

dumb question, but did you tried put WD40 on to "wash" it?

YUP I did indeed..no change as I believe the rubber button/switch cover does its job in keeping fluids outta the electrics..
