Help, bike wont start, error code 53
 

Hi all, my 2010 Tenere wont start, using the manual we figured out that it shows diagnostic error code 53 and it is related to the immobilizer, the master key doesn't work either. The bike is old and has traveled through much so I don't really care about having the immobilizer active and the bike shop asked for an outrageous charge for it, is there any way to work around it ?

I fitted one on my bike as the immobilizer was smashed. Worked a charm :031:

I removed the fuel tank and found a disconnected wire in what looks like a harness that goes from the ignition switch assembly.
