Mt03 660

Hi I have an 2014 MT03 660. Are there any other MT03 owners here? I live near Brisbane Australia. I'd like to find out about mods for my model. There's some info about later models on the internet and also earlier models but some how the 2014 model seems to be forgotten.

:hello: and :welcome: to :660:

Send a pm to Kev he is also in Bris Vegas and he happens to be our in house mechanic guru, ask him what mods you can do to your MT-03, I am sure he knows a few.

Cheers.

Does your bike have a 02 sensor?

No There is no O2 sensor. I checked that out. I see most of what you do is for bikes with O2 sensors.

Not necessarily, the reason Kev asked you if you had an 02 sensor is because he's got a fuel mod that will work a treat on your bike due to the absence of the 02 sensor, but I'll let him talk you through.

Cheers

Are you sure your 2014 model does not have a O2 sensor as the MT03 came with them from 2009?

Pre 2009 they had no O2 sensor.

This is where your O2 sensor should sit:

Yes It has. I was looking higher up on the headers. Your photo made it a lot clearer.

Fuel mod fitted last Saturday

Thanks to Kev for fitting the fuel mod to my MT03. As the exhaust is still standard he said there was no point in fitting the o2 mod. There is a noticeable difference in the smoothness of the bike but I'll have a chance to check that out on some of the roads I'm more familiar with in the next week or so.

It was an interesting morning watching him flash an XSR900 &, Kev if you ever want to sell that MT 09 you have let me know.
