Bought this bike, in stock condition and with 7,600 kilometres on the clock, south of Frankfurt a Friday this August, and rode it 1,600 kilometres to my home in Norway.

I was positively surprised:

• No surging whatsoever
• Not much vibrations at all
• Comfortable at (for the bike) hight speeds, up to just over 170 km/hour on the speedo
• Comfy with the under-seat cat heating my back-end when the rain set in

However, for comfortability I have purchased:

• A Touratech high seat (thanks to Pleiades who, in another thread, provided general advice to visit this site for Touretech stuff - that saved me more than GBP 100 on the seat)
• 3 cm handlebar risers
• SW-Motech central stand
• Inexpensive soft-bags
• Tool tube and a few other practical bits

As mentioned, have not experience any surging at all. However, would probably enjoy a slightly crisper throttle response. So perhaps one day I'll do the O2-controller/fuel mode and snorkel.

So far very pleased with the bike! :icon_lol:
