LED indicators work great BUT???
Well I have a funny problem.
I fitted an electronic flasher can with OEM indicators - Good. I fitted an electronic flasher can with front LED & OEM rear indicators - Good. I fitted an electronic flasher can with F&R LED indicators - WTF????. The indicators flash as per usual but the dash indicator light comes on but dies NOT flash even though the indicators do. I have asked Yamaha Australia and they think it is funny but no idea why. Any ideas??? |
Hi XTZKYM
I know this situation - it depends on the electronic flasher and the indicators. Had the same situation and was changing the front-LED to other LED's in the windshield and now the the dash indicator light follows again the indicators. Easiest way would be to try another (better) electronic flasher - i was trying 3 flashers and it was still the same - the indicators didn't suck/used enough power... Hope this explains it - hope you can live with the always-on-one or find a finer flasher. cheers, Andy |
The electronic flasher unit I bought from Off the Road (Germany ) works fine for all combinations....Steve
