Engine not starting
 

Hi all

My bike wont start, its a 04 660XTX. Bike is in good condition, just bought it.

Battery seems a bit low, but did charge it and its cranking the engine around good now.
I get a spark from the plug,but its a 9 plug, have ordered a new correct iridium type.

Smell gasoline when I try to start it.

Did the diagnostics, looks fine.

Any ideas?? Need some help here what to check?

Did the bike start and run ok when you bought it?...

Yes it started, I have only driven it a short trip, cause am taking my licence now.

Just wanted to start it for a while but nope didnt start.

Wtf, I have error 46, didnt see it until now :sad11:

I would guess new battery with that fault code

personally i would...i allways get 'named' batteries too..you pay a bit more,�45 for bosch i think but its worth it especially if theres a lot of load.

you done a forum search?..do you get any attempts/does it turnover to start the engine??...any noise from fuel pump?...

Yes the engine turns over, but like maximum 1 min then
the battery is flat. Have ordered a new.

Engine light is on and error 46 is in the display.
