Running warmer after coolant change

Right, having picked up and hopefully sorted some radiator damage, I had to do a coolant change. Since the new stuff has been put in, the engine seems to be running hotter than what I've come to expect.
After a 60+ mile run this evening, it doesn't seem to gain anymore temperature, just run at a higher temp.
My thoughts lean towards air in the system, but are there any particular methods for removing air or could it be something else?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,

normally when filled, you have to run the engine to a normal temp (just like doing Oil level check). then you let it cool completely.

The air may be on the top so you can open the radiator - normally cooled , but always be carefull ;).

and then adjust the coolant level.
