Yamaha Original Side Case Keys?
 

Hi There,

I have just recently brought (another) XT 660 Z with the original Yamaha Luggage fitted. I only have one key for the side cases. Does anyone know what the Yamaha part number of the replacement keys is? I called my local dealer here in Dublin (Ireland) and they didn't want to know.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I broke a key and had to get another cut but I'm still not happy with it

I'd be inclined to go into local locksmiths and see what they can do for you. The Yamaha keys (from memory) were poor quality and mine had a tendency to twist (not helped by the lock mechanism).

Not sure if they sell the keys, but might be worth an email/phone call

Went to a local good locksmith, charged me 4-50 for a key and cutting it, had to take the key and box with me to find the right blank, no good to you but man in Dartford Kent.
