Right hand Indicator question

Hey so last couple of days my right hand indicator has been messing about the odd time it will not light up or if it does it will cut out and come back on

Would I be right in saying it's a loose connection ? Maybe the relay playing up ?

Cheers

I had this problem recently and it was cured by cleaning the looms multi pin plug pins below the tank.
Hope this cures your also.

Dodgy connector, trapped/abraded wire or loose bulb?

Won't be the relay as it would exhibit the same issue on all the indicators left and right. Unlikely to be the switch either as that would mean the right rear would be intermittent also.

Best have a look at the switch then me thinks.

How do the hazards behave?

When the right one is playing up only the left side works on the hazards but brings itself to life shortly after so think it's a trapped wire or something along that lines

I'd still pull the switchgear off the bars and take a look. The hazard switch and indicator switch wiring are interconnected in the switch assembly. You will need to trace the single GREEN wire from inside the switch all the way to the connector where it splits into a front and rear separate feed. If both front and rear right hand indicators are dodgy, the fault can only be within this shortish section of green wire. Any problem after this connector will only cause trouble with either front or rear, but not both.
