Evening all ,,,
I got rear ended while I was stationary at a junction , the bike is now a cat b write off 😂😂
I get it back from the insurance company tomorrow, I am either looking for frame with a v5 , or I will consider selling the whole bike , it's a 2011 with just over 11000 miles ,, many many good condition parts , still runs and rides well

Thanks mate , fortunately enough no broken bones , just 5 broken teeth and some muscle damage to my right hip , but still smiling , bike not so good tho , but it did kinda save my life , she hit me at about 35 mph and her bumper went between the back wheel and the seat , on a smaller Lower bike , I dread to think what would have happened 😡

I'm sorry for being so curious but how did you manage to retain a cat B bike.
Our family total lost 2 bmw's here last year ,one a cat B other a cat C,and were told we couldn't buy the B back as it was for salvage only,and they wanted one third of the book price for the cat C which we decined .

Honestly I have no idea , it maybe because it will still have outstanding finance after they have paid me for the bike ,,,
I just got a letter telling me it was uneconomical to repair , they said the pre accident value of the bike was �4200 , they deducted the salvage value of the bike , sent me s cheque for the difference and said the bike will be returned to me on Monday , I rang the people up who have the bike and they said without the finance being paid off or a letter from the finance company they would not give me the salvage value of the bike so I have to have it back , so I now a garden ornament or boat anchor 😂😂😂😂

Re the bike perhaps a Yam dealer may be interested for spares???? Good luck.
