It does look the business, & I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating biscuits. I just hope Yamaha hasn't lost to many potential customers to other brands that already have their offerings in a competitive market on the showroom floors. It will all come down to cost & ability once the motorcycle journo's rate & review it.
It would be great to see one compete & do well in the next Dakar.

I hope that the single front disk indicates that Yamaha have kept the weight down <180KG or so. Unlike the CRF1000 which we were all waiting for, until it turned out to weigh 220KG..

It�s only a concept bike, there will be a XT700Z Tenere in the fall, but it won�t be like this bike. It will be officially presented at the EICMA in Milan in November, according to my Official Yamaha Dealer and available beginning 2018 on the showroomfloor at your dealer. Can't hardly wait to see it, although I'm not in the market for one, because I'm still very happy with my 660 Tenere, which is still runnin' strong and reliable at 110.000km's +! Yeehaw!
