Exhausts

Looking at replacing my Exhaust for another single can type but just wandered what experience people have and advice??..

You're spoilt for choice if you wanted to go for a 2-2 exhaust system, but there isn't a massive selection of 2-1 exhausts for the Z, in fact only five that I can think of.

MTC - Low-priced (which you've already got!)
Exan - Mid-priced (three styles in three different materials)
OTR - Expensive to very expensive (with a variety of can choices including Akrapovic)
X-Racing - Mid-priced (good if you like cans in a vast array of colours)
Dominator - Cheap and cheerful (the budget option)

Horses for courses really - all depends what floats your boat and how deep your pockets are.

Cheers!..my concerns for 2-2 are clearance having fitted the larger wheel size.. but having seen steves(great escapes) scorpion system it does look and sound lovely!..I hadn't really looked at exan yet..

Ironically, the one 2-2 system that won't clear an 18" wheel is... the Scorpion! :sad1:

The link pipe is much higher up and further to the rear than on all other 2-2 systems. Most common ones will work with an 18" wheel: MTC, Akrapovic, Leo Vince, Arrow etc.

Here's my thread about fitting the Exan 2-1 (and DIY 'big' tool tube) if you're interested?

I've converted their prices to sterling and they seam very competitive but I find there website slightly confusing in discription without a translation app?
