Hi from Cork, Ireland
Hi folks. I'm new to this forum and new back into biking after a few years away. Sorry I haven't introduced myself sooner but I've been crazy at work in the run up to Christmas( I work for An Post , the Irish Post Office). ...Anyway, I got my bike in October '16 (XT 660 X, 2005 model) in absolutely amazing condition and the odometer only registered 6,000 Km on the way home after I bought it. I don't get too many chances to get out on it with work, wife, kids.... blah....blah BUT! I intend to do 1 of either The Wild Atlantic Way, Scotland or The D-Day Beaches later this year. I'll stick up some pics when I get out next. Thanks again for the add and hopefully I'll be a convert to singles and the XT engine/ bike as the last time I had a single was 1984 (have had a DT 100,AR 80, KH 250, Z 250, VF 500, ZX 10, Z 650, FJ 1200, VFR 750, Maico 490, Blackbird, Africa Twin, BMW 1150 Adventure and an R6 track bike over the years). I have done a bit of touring around Europe over the years but very little in the last 10 years. I'm not great at techie stuff so my first pic. may take some time to figure out how to upload.
