Newbie first dirt
My son got himself a 2008 KLR 650 this week
Seems I'm doing something right https://c3.staticflickr.com/6/5753/3...1b9d789f_b.jpg Yesterday I took him for the first dirt ride It rained in the morning so the roads were damp and some places a few marbles He coped quite well with one or two spots where it went almost oops, but stayed up, traveled 40 to 50 km/h, taking it nice and slow Seems the bug has bitten https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/642/31...1282d231_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/457/31...a6a7d5f9_b.jpg https://c8.staticflickr.com/1/461/31...34894ec2_b.jpg A friend also with a Tenere and his son, also a KLR, joined us along the route https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5586/3...8bdbee5e_b.jpg https://c6.staticflickr.com/1/729/31...e4b1ec5a_b.jpg https://c4.staticflickr.com/1/742/31...1eb2f0ec_b.jpg https://c6.staticflickr.com/1/120/31...e3f5d4c7_b.jpg The first of many, I hope |

my boy will be old enough to get his licence in just under a year... I can see I will be buying another bike for him.. sell his CRF150... God .. more money.... dose it not end..... .... |
Lovely to see enjoying the pleasures together. Don't let your son ride your Tenere otherwise the klr may not be around for much longer I also see the tradition of a drink on a ride has not disappeared in SA. A bit unthinkable in the U.K. With too many people in a small space and our health and safety laws
