Conti trail attack 2

Just fitted a set of Conti trail attack 2 tyres

Was looking a road tyre as I don't get a chance to do any form of green laning now and even if I was think of it ive still got a set of knobblies.

after a 200mile bed in ride the profile if very sharp and allows the bike to turn in and out of bends very sharp. I'm a fast rider and they can be a bit skittish but they grip like nothing else ive had on the tenere before, ive literally no chicken strips left on the front as theres nothing more to give and the rears not far off the edge either

lets see how they last

I had bad experience with Conti TA1. Grip was good, but later front tire developed some terrific wobble. I was forced to put my old K60 again.
Hopefully they have sorted the problem on TA2.

GREAT road tyres. Spoil the look, though.

Can't have it all, can you!

Now there's a challenge......

I've used many of the Conti's and every one is better than the equivalent tyre from other brands (Better to me means grip and confidence, I don't put a price on tyres).

I had Anakees on, and after a rather embarrassing incident where I required assistance to get off a wet field, they were swapped for the Conti Trail's. Easily better on road and off.

TKC 70's are on the bike at the moment and they work brilliantly well, and are lasting for more than I thought they would, very even wear, even on long motorway runs.

I had Trail Attacks on the VFR1200X, when I swapped off the diabolical Pirrelli's.

Also put Trail Attacks on the Tiger 800XC in place of (again) abysmal performing Pirrelli's. Then again, the Triumph wasn't anything like as good as it should have been anyway.
