       Crappy engine casings

       Hi all,
I binned it down a lane the other day and cracked my clutch cover when the rear brake pedal lent into it. Upon removing it I noticed that the casting is really crappy and has quite a few cracks in it: https://c2.staticflickr.com/9/8200/2...748bdc7b_z.jpg https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8182/2...453257b7f7.jpg I then looked on eBay and found a used MT03 one that looked just as bad on the inside. Is this a common thing? I bodge repaired mine with some JB Weld for now but I'm going to CAD it up and CNC a new one out of billet because I now don't trust it in slow speed falls. I'll also be making a folding rear brake pedal and possibly making a GRP casing protector. Would anybody else be interested in a billet CNC'd clutch cover? Doubt it'll be too expensive. Cheers! |

Oooooooo I want one, cracked my casing 2 weeks ago when I hit a massive rock, whilst climbing a really rough lane, bent my engine bars into the casing 😣and cracked it. Fitted a fire damaged one in replacement.

Put me down for a folding brake pedal, if you're making them!
I've emailed a couple of people about making these, nobody seemed interested. Can't believe this isn't in the market already! |

Just cut the end of the stock pedal and bolt on said item. Add a brake-snake and you're sorted. http://www.gnarlyparts.ca/assets/ima...oe_tip-ora.jpg Available from US here and only cost $20 plus $10 shipping and import duty to UK. You know you want one Steve! :064: |

I'd be interested in a billet one depending on price
