How long do your gloves last?

So I got some new gloves that I started using in Feb 2016. I do wear them every day, they've probably covered about 10,000 miles with me in this time.

I now have the fingers getting very thin and some small holes appearing.

How long do you guys get out of a pair of gloves? Also, how much do you spend?

Normally, perhaps five years. Sometimes a little more or a little less, but the average lifespan is generally seems to be somewhere around the five year mark. Never spent more than 80 on a pair of normal gloves, 150 for heated.

My day-to-day gloves that I wear most of the time (riding all my bikes) are Held Touring (I think the GTX). Cost me about 60 five years ago (around 75 now) and I would guess have done 20-25K miles in all weathers including some off-road. They have a nice aged patina, but no signs of any serious wear. Good versatile allround gloves for the money IMHO.

I also have a pair of Held Sambia summer gloves (75) and a pair of Gerbings T-12 heated gloves for the winter (150), but they don't see as much use.

Fox Moto-x gloves cost $30AU, zero protection I know on the road but very comfortable in hot weather. They are about 4 years old & worn for about 16000kms + a bit of mountain biking. Still in surprisingly good nick.
