Newbie in Weymouth Help and advice appreciated
 

Hello All
After lots of looking and reading I am going to get an XT660Z. I am after as late and low mileage as possible or even new if there are any left? Hoping there's a bunch of people getting out on rides and greenlaning. I am in the South West. Done the odd Greenlane and a visit to Salisbury plain when I had an F800GS. That's gone and looking forward to finding an XT.

Any advice, would be much appreciated and hope to meet some of you soon.

PS hoping to do the Stella next year if anyone fancies?

Why change from the GS to the XT?

I had the GS, more or less got it sorted then ankle biters came along and I sold it. Bit more time now, and fancy green laning a bit more, if I can find decent routes around me. Have been in a bit of Dilemma as what to get really, always liked the XT when I had the 800GS went on a couple of runs with the adventure bike rider forum and they always looked good.

My choices were R1200GS, 800GS again, KTM990 adventure and the XT. Difficult trying to find a one bike fits all, but hoping the XT is it :045:
