Noise from engine
 

My xtr engine started be a little noisy.I am not sure where is the problem.May someone have any ideas.Bike start wery well,not smoke,millage 30k.

Difficult to tell from that video's audio. I guess there might be a bit more of a rumbling sound from the bottom end, but I can't be sure?

If you fancy a twenty or so mile ride you could bring it round here and I'll have a listen/look? Or maybe meet up somewhere on the coast at the weekend?

Hi guys,
never posted before but when i saw this topic, i worried and remembered around the last fix i did to my r engine, mechanic told me that this engine was going mad and needed a simple opening and 3/4 back turn to the bolt on its axis....please comment on this. right hand side, only replced seal.
my r is from 2008 and the mechanic is from a few years before....

Is it the "extra sound" out side the ticking of the cam chain and sound of engine? Like "pong pong" every second
