Ah ok I see what you're driving at. Hard to say the pins are neither obviously shiny or tarnished, I can't be conclusive. I will definitely be seeking out the installer when I get home as I want to be taken through how it's all supposed to work.

For your bikes ECU & your bike to run correctly it needs the 4 wire narrow band O2 sensor connected at all times, you will need either a O2 optimizer or one of my O2 controllers to control the close loop circuit & refit the narrow band O2 sensor & plug it into the lose black connector that you show in the picture, then you need to weld in a second O2 sensor bung onto the other exhaust header & fit your Auto tune to the second bung.

So the dealer who sold the bike new and fitted all the fruit is a couple of hours away from me. For a gamble of 50 bucks delivered should I buy one of these http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBa...=1467039658658

And see if that solves it? Easily conceivable there was one of these on before that fell off. Just weird as it was smooth road when the light came on.

Update

So, my 02 sensor eliminator plug arrived in the mail today.

I also got my bike back together after spending the last two weeks gradually doing the 20 000km service in the evenings, during which the battery has been disconnected.

Fire it up (haven't fitted plug yet) and the engine light has stopped flashing on its own. On my trip I did try disconnecting the battery but it didn't help.

SO I'm glad the error light has stopped, but I'm confused as to why it has stoped, or indeed why it ever started.
