Wiltshire RoADAR SkillShare

SkillShare is a free event organized by the Wiltshire RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders group for motorcyclists. It offers the opportunity for riders to come along and get a free riding assessment from a RoSPA approved tutor and to have a chat about bikes, riding and find out more about RoSPA advanced riding training over a coffee in one of the best cafes in Wiltshire.

Sounds great. I'm going to have to do this.

Coming Saturday at 10AM at The Divine Cafe in Cherhill, just outside Marlborough. Should be good. See which bad habits I have picked up.

For anyone interested - the postal code is SN11 8UU, main road Cherhill. Good excuse for Coffee and walnut cake.

Insurance companies also like the fact that you're trying to be safe. I got 10 off when mentioning I did an assessment before

It's great to get extra-sensory perception from 'experts' but don't let them, for one minute, infer they are THE Guru, because all Gurus, like martial arts masters, are still learning themselves and it is often from the student.

Never the less, any, accurate, advice is good and if only 1 thing sinks home out of all the guff and waffle, it might be the thing that saves the day...one day..

The main thing is to share experiences and enjoy and then everyone wins !

I have to agree with everything you say Pepsi. I'm a great believer in advanced training and we're all constantly learning.
I've done a Bikesafe course aswell as ROSPA and IAM and I'm still learning.
We should all do as much training as we can, have an open mind and you will improve and become a safer and more aware rider.

That was quite sobering. Good to be aware of your bad habits
