Speedo sensor keep flashing

XT T�n�r� rox!
I have a small problm. I have a fall and now thw speedo/odometer wont work. It flashes. It seems the white speedo sensor coupler came loose under the right tank.

I connected the coupler again but it still flashes. What is the problem?? Must I reset somthing?

Ok I solved it. Just start the bike and ride it. Not just neutral idling but in gear so that the sensor registers forward gear motion(therefore a speed) and it will indicate speed/odo again.
