Hi everybody,

I found this forum from a fellow member in my city. I joined as an XT supporter which has been a revelation. The amount of info available here is incredible. Thanks to all already for the assistance received.

Mods so far:
tail tidy, throttle grip mod, DNA filter, wide pegs, spot lights, Polisport fender, bar raisers (I'm 6'2"), Yamaha panniers, crash bars.
Planned Mods:
Front shock springs, cush drive PU rubbers, after market exhaust. Stock is very quiet and on our roads you NEED to be heard!

I can only dream to be able to do some of the "skilled mods" of members here but these bikes are MUCH easier to work on than my BMW X Challenge and it's a lot of fun taking guidance from posts on the forum. There's some great work shared here..

Thanks and cheers,

Graemet

Welkom!

Funny you say that the Tenere is easy to work on. The BMW must be a real nightmare then. Because i think the Tenere isnt that easy to work on. For a simple bike they managed to make simple things like removing a shock or a tank quite a fuzz

and do you have a photo of the polisport fender? I'm curious what it looks like
