one more question, is it enough to carry only friction plates and springs?
Steel plates can be reused?

Yes you can do the clutch with bike on side stand, you do not even have to drain the oil. Plates and springs are just fine to change, I have never had to change the plates. Hope this helps. Took my xt660x out 3 days ago , I am going to have to do my clutch. As when the clutch is set right at the leaver after 15 mins on the bike there is about 1o to 15mm of play. Pull over adjust it then fine for rest of ride. But in the morning it's to tight ? So guess the plates are sticking when cold not 100% but as it's an easy cheap job going to get it out and put a new one in.
