Pciii

So, I've been given a PCIII for nothing, only one problem....it's for a Honda VFR. What's the go with retro fitting them to other bikes, namely my Ten? Can the plugs just be rewired? Can the bike just be hard-wired?
Are the wiring of the PCIIIs just generic and only the plugs different between bikes?
Shame to waste it...any ideas/suggestions.

I would sell it on EBay & buy the correct one.

Thanks Kev, I am contemplating that, just as it was given to me I'm hesitant selling as that's what they could have done but wanted to do me a favour. Was hoping someone had done similar and tracking down the ECM plugs and a wiring diagram wouldn't be too hard.
Mat.

No use looking for the plugs unless all the inputs & outputs are the same.

It's not as easy as just swapping the plugs, are both bikes TPS voltage ranges the same? are both bikes crankshaft impulse pickup voltages the same outputs? are the injector duty cycles simular? Is the Pulsed width modulated wave form the same on both bikes injectors?

Haha thanks but didn't exactly expect it to run with the VFR programming and as the modules are generic hardware I expected the signal inputs and output drivers to be programmable. Are you saying the you believe the modules are specifically designed for each bike and not generic?
I.e most ecms I work with are programmed to accept TPS in either digital PWM or analog potentiometer. Never seen an injector that wasn't PWM and the DC depends on the crank speed, although the output voltage can vary especially with Piezo injectors upto 160v. I guess that also goes with crank position, modern common rail diesels being released still running inductive pickup position sensors while some are more expectedly running Hall effect. Again all are programable into the ECM depending on the chassis electrics the engine ecms are mated with and this isn't even going into the rest of the nodes on the network.
