XT660Z Tenere steering stem thread size

What is the XT660Z steering stem thread/nut size?

I have an alternative nut on the steering stem, of my modified fork/yoke/tripletree which requires a special key. I'd like to replace it with a regular open nut.

The stock Yamaha nut itself is 27mm, but I wouldn't have a clue what the thread is?
