spotlights led

hi after a near miss in the trough of bowland due to the crap headlights i have now fitted a set of LED spot lights, the lights are XM-L XML 4 Rr2 1800lm from ebay and also recommended on this forum. I tried them out the other day and they are literally brilliant no straining your eyes in the pitch black now.

I made my own mounting clamp and bracket as the adventure spec bracket is out of stock.

and I decided as it is wired direct to the battery i would put the switch within the cockpit so i would not accidently catch it and drain my battery, i used a waterproof switch from Zen overland and added an inline fuse to my wiring.

I am very pleased with the result.

Nice and neat and tidy, look good, I love the spots tucked in there out of the way and they make such an improvement over the standard lights.

Right here are the pictures as promised

first picture standard dip beam

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...ps28fwyqi2.jpg

as you can see nothing much visable after 25 yards, ,next standard full beam
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...pstsnhcwmy.jpg

a bit further but still as much use as a chocolate fire guard, next the spotlights,

Much better they may shine even further but would dazzel on coming drivers,, still not as good as car headlamps but much safer in the pitch black.
