Any electricians?
 
Quick question for any sparks that might be lurking. Bought a plug-in RCD the other day, just plugged it in to test, when I pushed the test button sure enough it tripped, but there was a flash (presumably a spark) from inside the plastic.
Should that happen? Instinct says no but not familiar with whatever goes on inside these things...
