Do I need it?

I've recently put a 2to1 MTC exhaust on my bike and changed the filter to DNA Stage 1.

Question I have is with an 08 XT with exhaust sensor do I need to add a fueling mod or does the sensor work that out for itself?

I had no problems when riding the bike this afternoon and evening, and it all seemed ok.

Very very poppy but I like that so won't be blocking the AIS

You be fine leaving things as they are.

Obviously performance will improve with an O2 controller/optimizer and fuelling device, but you can quite happily save that for another day...

Cheers Pleiades, theres so many posts on it I couldn't find the info I was looking for.

Maybe when I change to Stage 2 DNA I might look at it again then. How much is involved with fitting a fuelling device like a PC and does it work inline with the exhaust sensor?

Pretty simple, just plug-and-play using OE style connectors. You'll be up and running in 30 minutes if you use an off-the-shelf map. If you buy a PCV, you get a separate O2 Optimizer which plugs inline with the bike's O2 sensor to deal with the closed loop signal.

The most time consuming/expensive part is the dyno time if you want a custom map.
