Bike Rebuild and Ebay Items

I'm currently in the middle of bringing some new life into my 08 XTX, and just doing all the little mods I've wanted to do for a while but never got round to and as the bike had been off the road for a while I've decided to strip it down and get it ready for next spring. (was meant to be this summer but it's taken a bit longer than expected)

So far I've had the rear swing arm, front engine bracket and foot plates all repainted and I've blasted and repainted the engine black. I've fitted a tail tidy and am currently painting a rear tyre hugger and the rear brake cover too match the blue plastics (working progress, not entirely sure the blue matches just yet). Also fitted MTC 2-1 exhaust system.

That's all fine however I am now looking for a solution to the indicators, I quite like the large original ones on the front but they no longer work on the rear and I'd rather not have two different sized indicators on the bike. Has anyone got pictures of smaller indicators at the front? Or any experience with fitting these style hand guards... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1914533001...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Another area I'm thinking of changing is the radiator hoses. Now that the engine is black there's not much colour around the engine, I've been looking at this radiator hose kit for a while but can't make sense of the bottom most hose, the other two I can clearly see on the bike. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3213401861...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The smaller kinked hose is the one the joins the from of the cylinder barrel to the back of the water pump. It's quite tough to see on the bike, but if you look carefully you'll find it!

It is part #22 in the diagram below...

Can't really help you with the indicators as I don't have an X. However, Have a look on the OTR web site. You don't have to buy them from there, but there are lots of images of various designs fitted to the X and R models.

thanks for the reply, I had a quick look for pictures, bit late to go down to the garage now.

just above/behind the front engine mount?

I had seen that hose but it looks far to long in the ebay picture to be for that spot.

Anyone fitted these or any after market radiator hoses?

Yes that's the hose. It's a lot easier to see on an X than it is on a Z! ;)

I know what you mean, it does look too long. It could perhaps just be a generic picture in the listing though and not the actual set for the XT?

Just to confirm, the three hoses are: thermostat to radiator top, radiator bottom to water pump and the bypass hose from barrel to water pump.

Yes, that's what I count them to be, have had the engine out and repainted recently so I couldn't work out how I had been missing a hose.

That had occured to me but the other two look correct it's just that final one was throwing me off.
