Nice photos. Nice bikes. :023:

Do you know, I don't think I've ever seen a Rickman-Metisse with a Commando engine before? I've had Triumph 5TA-based Rickman-Metisse in boxes gathering dust awaiting some suitable forks and the time to finish - worst thing is I've done nothing about it in the last six years! These sort of images make me feel a bit bad about that.

Hi Pleiades, I would love to have a Metisse project..you should fettle it when time allows. I do have a '76 Z650 B1 I started on 15 yrs ago, frames enamelled and there the project stalled!. On my list of what I can afford and what spare time I have the Z is sadly at the bottom for now! Steve

Hi Pepsi, it's been a good biking day...started of at Foundry motorcycles . My friend Tom owns it and has started a monthly breakfast ride in, my Tenere was in a sea of Bobbers, Flat Trackers and various hipster Harley! , plus some cool Americana. Have a look at Foundry's Web site. Then just a couple of miles away Chichester college was having their annual bike day to raise money for the Air Ambulance. About a thousand bikes there. How's things with you in sunny Portugal. ? Steve

Not a Metisse, but I have just sold my SR540 that I built, it was a great bike, but a bit small for me, I built it to enter Sideburn magazines Dirt Quake, which was good fun, my Tenere fits me better though

Yep they are certainly some nice bikes Greatescape. I can just here my Dad now if we were walking around there telling me all about the old 250 Greeves he had with the leading link front suspension. I do miss those kinds of shows as there's not much like it around here. It's all about beefed up 4x4's. I had a look at the Foundry website as the name rang a bell, then I saw there is also a Foundry in Canterbury. Cheers mate.

And Abigsupermoto that's one cool ride. :WellDone_OROQR1:
