Kev mods without de-cat

First post on here so apologies if it's been asked before, I have searched for the answer but not found anything definitive...

I've bought the O2 controller and the fuel controller for my Tenere, and filter, stage 2 housing and even the stage 1.5 restrictor (by mistake :confused5:)

I've also bought a second-hand exhaust which I've cut open and removed the cat.

The O2 controller I've already fitted which has removed some of the snatchiness and reduced the backfires like it says on the tin, is it worth fitting the filter, housing and fuel controller without fitting the de-cat exhaust whilst I wait for it to get welded? Will I only see the real benefits once the engine is more free-flowing all the way through or will there be discernible benefit fitting the inlet side mods before the exhaust is ready?

thanks in advance...

oh, and hi all by the way. Jac if you read this, I'm the guy in Wiltshire who bought your brothers bike when his holiday touring was cancelled....

Welcome mate.

If you want to stop you exhaust from popping back block off your AIS pipe or remove the AIS system & fit a blanking plate to the IAS system.

As for the mods I would fit them all, you will be fine until you sort your decat.
