any one had a sweaky rear end when you compress the shocker down abit, i have taken all linkage bolts out and greased them but still got the sweak,any one help.

It could be the spring, try a spay of WD top and bottom of spring. Greasing the bolts may not be enough you may need to remove the inner sleeve and get some grease on the needle rollers. Steve.

Mine was like that too. I stripped the whole swing arm off, as per the detailed instructions on this forum, cleaned up and regreased the whole lot. That stopped the squeak.

Do you have a centre stand? Mine was badly adjusted and it rubbed underneath the swing arm. Took me a while to figure where the squeak came from.

yes its got centre stand,i will look at that first,thanks for that,never gave that a thought

+1 on checking the centre stand.

Also the rubber metalastic type bush on the top of the shock can get squeaky. A quick spray with silicon shuts that up, either Mr Sheen or the detailing stuff you use for rubber trim and tyre walls.

I have the same squeak and it never went away after completely regreasing the prolink/swingarm bearings. Thanks for the tips guys, will check top shock mount and centre stand
