Hi Diddy, Seedy and Weavemcq. See you guys tomorrow at H cafe at 2o'clock. Hope we dodge the rain.
Cheers, Jac

Looks like rain between 2 and 3. So I plan on getting there a bit before 2 and leaving after the rain, fingers crossed.

diddyid 08-03-15 00:31

Will see you there just before 2

Jacques le Roux 08-03-15 08:45

Just been out for a quick ride and rain does look likely. I'll get there a little before 2pm and like you, hope the rain blows through. :sunny:

Great stuff and what a nice surprise. 6 XT's side by side. Lovely meeting you guys and looking forward to more meets at H. Now its Ace in 2 weeks time. I'll post the piccie once I've figured out how.

Somewhere in the depths of leafy Oxfordshire, a woodpecker stopped its pecking, A fieldmouse raised its ears, and a new born calf paused to contemplate the noise approaching.

The sound of a rumbling single cylinder broke the silence, followed by another, then another, until the sound became deafening and it felt as if the very sky was being rent asunder.

Fully six of the great beasts rolled past, the ground under them giving way to their various footprints. The roar from each, slightly different to the last, but unmistakably powerful.

The riders stood tall, united in the sunshine, devouring the miles of land in front of them.

Just kidding, it was six blokes in a car park!
But what a great bunch of blokes they were!

Six XTs and two XT non-riders (one due to injury, the other because he'd brought his MZ instead)

Hope to see you all again soon.
Ace Cafe in two weeks time, or Wales in a couple of months.

Steve

Six was pretty amazing. You think we can better that? Looking forward to the ride through the Welsh mountains.

diddyid 08-03-15 22:24

just seen the pic of us at H caf, next time I will have to make sure my bike is turned round the right way before the photo is taken :037:

Pleiades 08-03-15 22:38

Maybe your bike is the right way round and the others are the wrong way round?

It does look though, like your's is turning it's head in shame because it isn't a Tenere! ;)

Nonsense, from what I saw, you were all a picture of health & beauty, many a woman would dig any of you any day, and that's because you've joined the XT 660 forum and some of you are XT Supporters, you have signed up to eternal youth, health and babe magnet status!

Jacques le Roux 09-03-15 20:19

Sounds about right

Jacques le Roux 09-03-15 20:22

I wonder which county has the most xt's?

greatescape 09-03-15 20:23

Hi Jacque, I shall probably be calling in to Loomies on Saturday /Sunday....was sorry I missed all that Tenere talk at the H!, nice photos. Let me know if you do go to Loomies. Steve

Jacques le Roux 09-03-15 21:02

Come hell or high-water. Should be there between 11 and 12 Sunday. Felt really alone last time with no XT in sight amongst the wall of Beemers and off roaders. Time to put it right.

I'd love to say I'll join you but it's Mothers Day! (in case anyone has forgotten) :what:

Jacques le Roux 13-03-15 09:28

Hi guys. Any of you interested in heading south Sunday morning. I'm doing loomies between 11 and 12. Quick easy ride on the A34 or lots of snaky B roads if you prefer

Jacques le Roux 13-03-15 12:20
