PCV Install before or after service ?
Hey
Finally got my PCV and was wondering if I should get it fitted and a custom map done before or after its service as the service is due around the same time ? Cheers in advance |
Dyno tuning is quite hard on a bike's engine, transmission and tyres. It is always worth making sure your bike is in tip-top condition before visiting a dyno centre. Also, you don't really want to build a custom map for your bike if you've got things negatively influencing performance such as dirty air filters, worn/old spark plugs, valve clearances out of spec etc.
Get it serviced, make sure your chain/sprockets are in good nick and its all properly adjusted and your tyres have the right pressure (some people even add a few psi). |
Cheers think I'll get the service done first.
I recently just cleaned my stage 2 and have ordered more cleaner liquid to do the stage 1 also I'll probably rock a little extra Psi in the tires to :) |

Yeah what I probably do is get it serviced and get the filters all cleaned up and then put a couple of hundred miles on it then get it dyno'ed :) |
XT DONKEY, where will you have it dynoed?
|
HarryP we have two options here that I know of there is the one I am using Which is Mototech up in lisburn and there is also Jack frost up at Holeshot Racing up in Moria

Thanks, XTD
