Yeah, i think it must have been faulty rubber or something along those lines because the rubber was the same on the inside as well..took her out briefly this afternoon and i must say it felt sweet..

Hi, I think mine has the same problem, noticed it with the thank removed some fissures in the clamp area on top side of the rubber, as I ride on dusty conditions I think I'll try to replace it asap. Is it hard to replace? Any advice would be great.

Hi,a bit late replying but yes it was quite fiddly, sorry about the lateness but I don't seem to get alerted to people replying on threads , I must be over looking something..
