Wales 2015 - Its not just for those with a 21 incher!

XT660X riders :welcome:

The Wales meeting will/can be just as suitable and fun for XTX owners as it is for those owning an R or Z. I know with all the talk of green lanes, trails and off-road riding in previous post-Lakes discussion it might sound like these events are a bit of a mud-fest, but they're not. There's something for everyone. There will be plenty of opportunities for some excellent and entertaining road rides through some beautiful Welsh countryside. Plus, don't forget the banter, camaraderie and aprs-ride entertainment is the same whatever you ride! :beer[1]:

So come you guys with 17 wheeled XTs Get yourself signed up! It would be really great to see a better representation of XTXs at Wales 2015 than weve had at the Lakes these last couple of years. You dont even need any major luggage carrying ability either as the bunkhouse at the site is fully equipped just bring a sleeping bag and a spare pair of pants!

Remember - everyone is welcome!

I will second the previous two posts.
I have some very good contacts that will be able to inform me if trails are accessible and I will arrange a trail ride if possible.
Either way I will arrange different rideouts which should acommodate riders of the different bikes and abilities.
I am aware that some will have a good ride to get to the meet and that in itself can be a bit of an adventure. We can have undercover braziers and the pubs / shops locally are very good.
The more that sign up the merrier and it will make it easier for us to investigate routes.

Please get your name down if only a maybe at this time.

Cheers Steve

Hey Geoff. I have got some large scale maps of the area and will be attending the Dragon there. I intend to have a good scout around and see what else I can find. I will stay over an extra day to do this. I also have a very good friend who goes trail riding there (and all over the planet!) who I am sure will be able to mark up some maps for me.
If we could mneet up somewhere before the meet that would be good. I'm only in Huddersfield!
