Maybe eight hours in the saddle. Potentially a nice route though.

I'm already riding 350 miles to get there... what's another 300 more, really? Vroom, I say!

Why not get in touch with the Yamaha off road experience, I'm sure they'll give you some insights for trails and fun. There's at least 10 Tnr s there already!

It isn't the distance that's the problem, doesn't bother me - the idea istelf, of a ride from North to South Wales and back is great - "Long Way Down and Up Again". As I mentioned, it's a lovely twisty scenic route over the Cambrian Mountains.

It's more the time factor - eight hours. As the ride was billed as a visit to the Touratech shop (which is only open 10 till 5), I was just thinking that folk wouldn't get much time at all to browse the store and fill their trolleys with Touratat. Mind you, thinking about it, that's probably a good thing! ;)

I'm glad those who have signed up are keen to see this go ahead. I'm a 100% definite attendee and I'm planning to do Thursday to Sunday. I've booked the time off work and more crucially, even got permission from the missus!!!

Only had my XTR a couple of months so I'll be spending the run up converting it from totally standard machine to one with some poorly installed pseudo off road bits and bobs.

Also a big thank you to everyone who's making this meet happen. If there is anything I can do, let me know.
