Tenere noise

Not shore if I'm just being picky but I can hear a noise that only happens on acceleration in gear. The noise can be described as a hissing from the front of the bike and it can only really be heard if I'm in a tunnel or riding next to a wall it's only when the bike is under load. Is this just a normal induction or header noise ?

Time spent without rod in hand is time forever wasted.

I shouldn't read too much into this. Could be induction hiss, could be AIS (but unlikely when accelerating). Could be a lot of things? If the bike is running fine, I wouldn't worry.

You could always fit a louder pipe and then you won't notice! ;)

Lol exactly what I was thinking it still has standard exhaust :) bike runs fine

What you're describing sounds like drive chain noise, perfectly normal.

No it's at all speeds and revs only when on the gas. I've put it done to ether normal drive sprocket noise or just the exhaust/ engine under load it can only be heard when in a tunnel or riding close next to a wall.

I know three Tenere that after 18 to 19 k km have a different sound in the exhaust muffler probably pieces of ceramic catalyst

Just sound rebounding at you from the bike / adjacent hard surface n a way you wouldn't normally hear it I would have thought.
